In a Dang Blink
There are some really good quotes about time . . . How you spend it, not to waste it, how fast it truly flies by. Why is it that some stages of life seem to last an eternity while others zip past like a dang blink of an eye? I love to read good quotes about time, they help put things in perspective, remind me what is important and not to take things for granted. Today I am amazed that the old adage “in a blink” is true.
John Archibald Wheeler said “Time is what prevents everything from happening at once” and aren’t we glad that is the case! Time can be our friend or worst enemy. I believe that when you make the most of your time memories are made. Of course making the most of your time can be packing in a full schedule or simply resting in the moment. That is the beauty of time, you can spend it as you see fit.
Living in the moment is an important part of what I consider making the most of your time. The simple truth is that we get 24 hrs in each day and enjoying each moment is critical, because you can never get the day back. As a mother and a busy dang chick I have to constantly remember to live in the moment, to be thankful for the busyness of each day. There are many days where there is simply not enough time to get it all done, it is especially important on these days to remember that people make time for what is important. Don’t forget about what is most important when you are busy with your day. You will never regret the time you spend with your children or family, take it from this dang chick . . . time passes in a dang blink.
Here are a few of my favorite time quotes. I hope you enjoy!
“When was the last time you did something for the first time?” ~ author unknown
“Our priorities are best reflected by how we spend our time” ~ author unknown
“There is never enough time to do everything, but there is always enough time to do the most important thing.” ~ Brian Tracy
“You may delay, but time will not” ~ Benjamin Franklin
“There is one kind of robber whom the law does not strike at, and who steals what is most precious to men: time.” ~ Napoleon I, Maxims, 1815
The moral of the story is to not miss out on today because you are focused on tomorrow. Soak it all in.
